A dragon of fairly few words, Kodiak is more often seen and not heard. Before the days of the great race, he was the clan's chief dancer and took great joy and pride in his craft, working closely with the clan priestess and training new recruits in interpreting flames and telling compelling stories through dance. This role largely gone due to the circumstances ushered in by the new absence in hierarchy and jettison of clan tradition & ritual, Kodiak focuses on keeping pace with the rest of the pack on the journey to dragonhome.

Wholly unwilling to leave the remaining lealista he so greatly believes to be his home and family, and blessed with a generous wingspan, the boy doesn't struggle to follow the other competitors and steer clear of foul play by travelling mainly by air. When he does find other lealista resting overnight, Kodiak is more than willing to polish his garments and perform for old times' sake. A charismatic stickler for tradition, there's no doubt whatever awaits at the end of this wild race, Kodiak will be there at the finish line, dancing and maintaining his practice until he can dance no longer.
