B I O G R A P H Y

I will rise and stand my ground,
Waiting for the night's return

______ Audax was born into the world in flames. She awoke in the heart of a fire, but her skin was hard and immune to burning. As soon as she was able to walk, she stumbled her way North, drawn by an inexpressible yearning. She made her way from The Great Furnace, Zephyr Steppes, Leviathan Trench, and eventually found herself in the Abiding Boneyard, where she met a clan in great turmoil. The Clan of the Afflicted Demesne was ruled by the tyrannical Tristia. Tensions were mounting and the population was in flux, so no one batted an eye when Audax decided to take root, the need to move suddenly satiated. As fights broke out more and more often, Audax hung in the shadows, observing and planning. When the time came, Audax engaged in a one-on-one battle with Tristia, and emerged as the winner. Audax quickly gained leadership and set up a robust governing system.

______ However, the desire to continue North returned. Audax tried to ignore it and keep her new clan grounded, but she found herself unable to properly lead. She saw how the clan was still restless and unhappy and decided to follow her yearning and moved the whole clan North, into Earth territory. Along the pilgrimage to Dragonhome, the clan changed and expanded and split. Rafael, another Wildclaw who was wandering Earth territory, happened upon the clan. He and Audax saw in each other mirroring qualities, and they spent many months discussing leadership and governing and stability. Together, they formed the governing system that the clan currently lives under; they also renamed the clan to Clan Fatigare.

______ Then, quite suddenly, the clan settled into a roomy lair in the Greatwyrm’s Breach. Audax and a large portion of Clan Fatigare worked well in the new territory, but some of them, including Rafael, weren’t at all comfortable in the new lair. After negotiations that involved the whole clan, Audax and Rafael decided the establish a secondary clan; a nomadic group that would continue to travel Sorienth in every territory.

______ Audax is a strong and fair leader. Her primary goal is to keep the clan as stable as possible after such a trying past. The yearning of wanderlust seems to have disappeared for good. Audax lives happily without a mate, and she spends most of her days governing with the help of Clan Fatigare’s representatives and elders..
