She's glamourous, she's stunning, she was practically crafted by the Shadowbinder herself. She's an aristocrat, a star, a gift upon dragonkind. She knows that she and her friends and family are the elite, the best of the best, which is why she chose them. Regalia is also proud to represent the Shadow Flight and the Shadowbinder. After all, she was the Shadowbinder's own child, born of a lone egg with no equals, no siblings, no family. While other First Generation dragons feel that this is a lonely existence, Regalia viewed this as a clean slate - she was able to do whatever she wanted, unburdened by any that may have given her a reputation ahead of time - excluding the Shadowbinder, of course. She was always proud to have her mother of Shadow watching her as she made her way in the world. She eventually came upon Clan Stjerneklart. Although Arcane was not nearly as amazing and fulfilled as Shadow Flight, she gave it a try. Then slowly, slowly, she began to change. Her scales started to transform into a gem-like state, her underbelly and horn began to glitter brilliantly with an orange-gold light, and her very skeleton and form changed from a Nocturne to a Pearlcatcher. If the Shadowbinder allowed such a drastic and change to happen to her, then she would gratefully accept it and stay where she wanted her to. A small aristocracy began to form in the Clan after Regalia came with Atramentous and Tox that Lacerta later joined. The two took a liking to her and their similar personalities melded with one another quite well. She also took a liking to the Imperial Light Ambassador, Royal. Imperials always interested her, especially Emperors. However, she soon found that she would hate for such a thing to happen to Royal and she fell in love. Love eventually led to hatchlings that were showered in their mother's pride as they went out into the world, and to their allies. But one... One of her children did not end up like her mother did. Amaranthine, the daughter promised to Light Flight was doomed to the darkness. The Shade took her and defiled her, making her pearl and mind dark. Regalia has no clue where her daughter is, but wants to see her desperately. But where she is is ruled by the Shade and is only accessible to those in tune with the Shade. But some day. Someday, she will see her again. But before that, she saw her Grandson by Amaranthine, Sith. She dotes on him and his cousins, Silas and Saxon, and his brother, Jedi all she can, making them jewelry and fine clothes, buying them all the books, quills, bones, and parchment that she can get her claws on, nothing is good enough for her beloved Grandsons. Since he cannot leave the Clan as much as he wants to, she makes his home-boundedness as pleasant as possible. It can be a little overwhelming, though. |
