She’s been like a fish out of water ever since she was born, an orphaned hatchling from the very beginning and a tundra in the Ashfall Waste. Her home clan didn’t know what to make of this hatchling, her fur was so fluffy it retained too much heat and plants were not exactly common sights to come by for her to eat. But they had heard word about a dragon from an arcane clan visiting close by, and ended up passing the hatchling to a visiting mage who simply nodded and left with the tundra and a firebird at her side. She was brought to Ridley to decide what to do with her and finally passed on to Nalo who was willing to be her foster mother, and gave her the name Labhandar. Being a small tundra and living with the clan florist, often some of the flowers would end up being more like food than a lovely display for all to see. But Nalo did her best to redirect Labhandar into eating other plants and tried to teach her how to tend to a garden instead so perhaps she wouldn’t associate blooming flowers with a snack. Luckily it worked, and as she grew older she soon found that she very much enjoyed gardening! She was very good at it and helpful to Nalo who always was happy to make bouquets out of each new blossom, but her caring nature brought her to other members of the clan eventually as well. Obsidian would at times receive flowers from her like a memento of when she was a statue and gardens grew up around her, or as an indirect gift from Labhandar but truly meant to be a gift of love from Orion. When Wasabi has trouble with foraging if it’s not too much of a trouble with her, Labhandar tries to help her without getting in the farmer’s way too much. Absolutely anyone is welcome to a gift of flowers and relaxation in her garden, and many clanmates might receive roses, tulips, carnations and who knows what else as random gifts in order to make them happy.
