He was the best of them once. A long time ago. And then something changed, and he changed with it...became...not the hero, not the savior, but a cursed thing. Dark of thought and deed.
Cursed indeed, and thus he took "Curse" as his name. He had but one mate at the time and together they were the most powerful creatures...feared and in demand at the same time. Sorcerers, spell-casters.

At some point he left to make his mark in a wider realm than just the woodland they had called home. And in his travels he met Shaela, who is both his greatest treasure and his bain. She is pure of heart and light of spirit and torments him with memories of what he once had been, a long time before. For her, he vowed he would change...but it has not happened thus far. The rot and misery has all but consumed the knight he once was. It will be a long road back... but he has started... and has adopted the name of Sindar to distance himself from his past.
