Before becoming a Matriarch, Clover was a formidable fighter and trained many of the clan's Protectors. She chose to mate with Volt, the Lightning Flight Ambassador, and recently appointed her daughter Aether as her Heiress. Clover does not have any sons to lead her Protectors, but the bachelors she trained before becoming a Mother have dedicated themselves to her and her Heiress.

Clover's impressive training and skill as a fight her has earned her a reputation as an intimidating warrior, but those who know her best assure that she is humble and kind. She is devoted to her clan, and still takes part in the Initiation Ceremony for new Commanders.
