Uh-oh, looks like this adventurous skydancer wandered a little too far from his lair (mintymocha #25845), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. He'd like to visit as many different flights as he can. If you like, you can add your own part to the story below, recounting his experiences!

[ mintymocha ] Taking one last look at the forest he called home, Ciero took to the skies. His familiar clung to his neck, knowing that it would not be able to keep up with the agile dragon. He did not know where he would end up, but he was sure of one thing; When he returned, he'd have plenty of stories to share with his family. [ monsterownage ] Landing in the ice cold domain of flight rising he was welcomed by a fairly large lair. Unsure of how they are he fallowed them to there lair where he rested and got some food while the usual snow storm raged on through. Ellesmera the clan leader told him stories and advice to advoid things on his journey. Once the storm had stopped few hours later she gently nudged him out the door with his friend. [ PreciousSinners ] It wasn't long before Ciero found himself wandering through the eerie muck of The Tangled Wood, a sense of trepidation sitting heavy in his heart. The land all looked the same; the earth and the sky shared the same hue. For a time the young Skydancer thought he might be lost in the shadows for eternity, but his gloom was soon ended. He met a kindly face; something he did not expect to find in this murky land. He introduced himself as Noah, the Patriarch of a nearby clan, the Blackreach Clan. When it was made clear that Ciero had traveled from his home in hopes of seeing the world, Noah very warmly welcomed him into the clan. Ciero found friends among these dragons; though dark and strange as the were, they were kind souls. There was the oracle, Vyko; he was strange and distant, always staring off into that pearl of his. Noah introduced Ciero to his mate; a Nocturne who reminded the Skydancer very much of spring with her gentle colors, and she had a gentle voice to match. Ciero enjoyed sitting and listening to her spin her tales and speak of the history of their clan. There was an Alchemist, Dukaan, who was always taking on a new experiment, and his mate, Vokun, the spirit healer who oft times was busy caring for the eccentric fae. Ciero lingered in the clan for a number of months, seemingly unwilling to part with the friends he had made here. But he had set out from home with a mission, a goal, and his journey was far from complete. After some time, Ciero finally decided it was time to go. With a few simple goodbyes he was off into the dark sky once more, searching for his next home. AvianXL23 His stay wasn't long, in the odd Arcane clan, finding the place a bit unsuitable for his life style. Everyone was far too loud and rowdy, an old tension that seemed to resist fading keeping the dragons active and very irritable. Ciero had gathered his things fairly quickly after a 25th rude comment from the plague PearlCatcher, seeming to resent those within the clan besides a select few; Hau, Xing, and a young infant Avian. These were the only sensible ones within the tension filled clan, but sadly they seldom saw the Navy and Maize dragon for Ciero feared to even venture outside in the chance that he might stumble into a fight. This being said, Ciero had packed his things and just before he left, he said his good-byes. Xing and Hau wished him good luck while the infant hugged his leg, and of course he felt an aching pain as he hugged the young Wildclaw one final time. After parting himself from the infant, Ciero spread his wings and took to flight; allowing the wind to carry him to whichever clan he would visit next. |
