Frostwing is as cold as the ice that encases the feathers on her wings, and in her rare bouts of anger can be nearly just as sharp. Some attest her seeming lack of emotion to the fact that she was hatched on the longest night of the year, saying that the coldness of the moonlight seeped into her heart, chilling her soul. Others say it has more to do with being raised alone with no other hatchlings to bond with, as her sister was cast away to a distant Light Clan soon after hatching, where she now serves the Lightweaver. Whatever the reason may be, most members of the Clan tend to avoid dealing with her unless absolutely necessary, for none truly trust her.

One reason for this is because her line of work brings her into frequent close contact with the Heart of the lair. Many fear that the strange magic within it will warp whatever curse she may have to unstable levels. Even so, Frostwing is undeniably an important part of the Clan, as her powerful magical abilities lend her the skill needed to track the whereabouts of the rogue sorceress Dillon.
