Snurgleturth

{she/her} Snurgleturth was once a great scientist, she absolutely loved the study of Chemistry, in fact, she worked in the field since she was just a hatchling, succeeding far above her peer, unfortunately, she let this get to her head, and she became infatuated with the idea of becoming even greater than even the best scientists around, she had a goal, albeit a hard one to achieve. She was constantly experimenting and shutting out anyone and everyone. As hard as they tried, no one could tell her to slow down, because of this, she missed out on so many opportunities, and her social life shattered. She didn't care, though, she kept going. finally, she had the experiment that would prove her worth, while adding the final ingredients, she slipped. she thought "this hasn't happened for so long..." she realized a mistake as monumental as this must have been no accident, and she accepted what ever happened next due to this. the beaker started shaking like it was popcorn in a pot over a fire, suddenly, it popped, there was a cloud of smoke, then an oozing, molten liquid poured out at the pace of a cheetah. There was no way out of this one. the ooze covered her face, melting straight through the scales and flesh, causing a scar to cover her nose to her eyes. after the accident, she realized her mistakes, and put the mask on to cover her scar, and her shame. the now is trying to make up for what she lost in her adolescence by being more social, and making friends.
When she first arrived at the cave, she met Crade, who gave her some science equipment, made by Baldwin. the two seemed to become friends rather quickly, despite them both being anti-social in nature. Crade offered to take her to see Bald win, and she happily accepted, overjoyed about being able to try doing some scientific work once again. on arrival, she felt a cold chill go up her spine, she knew something was wrong, she pushed forward any, despite her instinct. Crade introduced her to Baldwin, and he seemed very happy to see someone new at the Cauldron. She felt as though she was not supposed to be here. she asked Baldwin about what he was brewing to buy up time. she looked into the Cauldron and immediately wanted to leave, she couldn't look at it without thinking about the accident. she said her goodbyes, and flew back to the cave, since then, she hasn't been able to go back to her passion, despite her attempts.
