Following the laws of the Bone Court, Aurum travels to hold funeral rites for any dragons in need of them. He was gifted since birth with the ability to see into a dragon's past, with the use of any one of their belongings. This is usually significant if the dragon is long deceased, and Aurum needs some way of identifying who that dragon once was. For this reason, he collects astray items for the sake of remembering dragons who once owned them. Aurum has a special burial ground specifically for such items, which most dragons will mistake as a treasure trove full of hoarded junk.

He appears to act very stoic, yet rather humble. Aurum understands that life is too short for many, and sees no reason to give anyone a hard time or spite. This doesn't exactly make him good in character, however, as Aurum has a few dark secrets of his own that he is not willing to share. Aside from his obvious hobby of collecting items of the deceased, he is quite fond of gardening and maintaining herbs. Aurum is also quite good at lock-picking and following a dragon's tracks. This makes him a rather... efficient stalker. For reasons that Aurum does not want to explain, the open wounds on his face and chest never seem to stop bleeding.
