Biography

Prehnite
Archaeologist, Harpy Translator

Prehnite grew up exploring the cairns and caverns of Cairnstone Rest, a dangerous old burial site rife with hostile Beastclan and, as it is rumored, the undead. He discovered many lost artifacts, his digging expeditions bringing many chests back for the clan.

When the Gembond began to grow out of control, he was too far into the labyrinthine caverns to reach any kind of help. So, with a wry smile, he decided that nothing would be more fitting than becoming a stone artifact himself, and dragged his increasingly heavy body to the middle of a great cavern, light punching through a hole in the ceiling to illuminate his rocky tomb.

However, as he waited here, half dreaming in the Gembond-induced hibernation that kept him alive, the cave became occupied by another group - harpies.
The feathered beastclan took the grand cavern as their most prestigious war room, and around the great stone they planned and plotted. Over time, Prehnite came to understand their language, and eventually became fluent. He heard of a large attack being plotted against nearby clans, but could do nothing.

Eventually the assault was launched, and for a long time the cave was dead silent. The Harpies had lost. Eventually, other archaeologists found the crumbling mass of stone, and recognizing it from the descriptions of the Geode hunter, Amethyst, reported back to her. Amythyst broke Prehnite out of the stone, and helped him recover.

Desiring a change of scenery after so many years, he set out to after rumors of artifacts hidden in the Tangled Woods, to live in a clan allied with Amethyst's - The Conclave.
