Maelor is the Clans Hoard watcher.
Although it is well known that all dragons love to hoard, Maelor is in charge of keeping a record of everything that comes and goes, with reams and reams of paper, number and names as to what each dragon has taken and given.
He also takes care of the messages and posting services so as to keep it all in an orderly fashion with each dragon having its own cubby hole in the main room to receive their messages respectively.

Because of these two time consuming jobs, Maelor rarely has time to spend with many of the dragons, however he has made good friends with Kaya, the female interest of Oreseur, the current leader of the clan.

Maelor met Oreseur when he was kicked from his home shortly after hatching during the few weeks that Nocturnes are active. Having never visited his home in Tangled Woods, Maelor has lived his life in Erithian When Oreseur saved him from Exultation.
Although he would have been happy to serve his god, Maelor craved to see life before.
