Leiff

Leiff had always lived a simple life; he was exalted to the serve under the lightweaver... 'twas a simple life, and yet it was not the life this young Fae sought; instead he wanted to make his own paradise; where one could enjoy life in peace, a place where kind-hearted dragons would gather to love and live life to their heart's content. Begging the lightweaver to try and realize this dream of his, he was granted one chance; at the exchange of his blessing to serve under the lightweaver... whilst he was allowed to make a flight bolstering his banner, he is never, EVER allowed to reach the exalted position he once held.

Leiff agreed to these terms.

When the Fae set off to create this flight; informally named 'The light of paradise'; he came in contact with a young Tundra, named Cherera. Cherera was excommunicated from her flight after stepping up to a superior dragon for it's harsh treatment of her peers. Leiff admired her bravery and told her of his plans to start a flight based on the simple ideals of living life the way you wish to; with no place to go and interest in his ideals, Cherera tagged along and became the first member of the flight and became Leiff's first mate.

The Flight slowly grew and with the unwavering support from Cherera and a guardian named Taku; the flight managed to settle down on the lightweaver's property and continued to grow in peace.
However, everything was changed when the fire nation attacked a young Tundra by the name of Guille entered the flight... he was abandoned or lost by his mother as a mere egg and was found by Leiff, whom adopted the fledgling as his own... however the young tundra did not agree with Leiff's dream of a peaceful paradise... no, he had the ambition to oppose this; he wanted to expand the flight, dominate others... anything to gain more power.
Over the years this ambition became more and more prominent until an internal struggle commenced that divided the flight into two groups; two groups that violently argued with one another, even resorting to attacking one another.
It was not until Leiff showed the initiative for a truce that this internal struggle ended... much to Cherera's disliking, Leiff handed his title of Flight leader over to Guille and allowed him to try and realize his own vision. This was allowed for a couple of years and the Flight saw tremendous growth, however, one day Taku unveiled a plot of Guille's to thin out this flight's numbers so only those blindly loyal to his command remained.

It was then that Leiff, Cherera and Taku mobilized an opposition force, killing several capable dragons in the process, and more importantly... finally settling the problem with a fair, honorable 1-on-1 combat between Cherera and Guille. Sadly the fight ended in a draw and both dragons died fighting for their beliefs.

Leiff was broken after this ordeal... but found strength in Taku's resolve, the one whom had lost her beloved as well. Leiff decided to retire from being flight leader entirely and he would leave the younger generation to guide the flight any further. Taking his time to mourn his loss.

Now Leiff functions as the grand seer, an advisor of sorts to all dragons that seek guidance; but not taking responsibility for this flight's exploits anymore.
