Aigletos was discovered much like Mellona was, all alone and dehydrated, a water dragon so far from the water. It was these similarities that caused Mellona to immediately adopt the young Nocturne, and she and Belissama have been caring for Aigletos ever since. Even though he was badly malnourished and dehydrated, Aigletos managed to recover and immediately attached himself to Mellona and Belissama, his adoptive parents. His biological parents are unknown, but Mellona reasons that if his parents were neglectful enough to abandon him in the Ashfall Wastes, then they didn't deserve to have him anyways. Aigletos immediately wormed his way into the collective heart of the clan, and there wasn't a single dragon who didn't fawn over the tiny dragon. Even after many months, Aigletos never seemed to grow at all. He matured and grew up, but his wingspan and length never increased, leaving him small and flightless even as he entered adulthood.

He doesn't let his inability to fly bother him, though, instead he can be found clinging to Beli's back, helping her control the pests that would harm their plants. His small size and nimble claws make him highly effective at pest control, and when he and Belissama team up, there isn't a harmful bug left in the fields! When he isn't helping one of his moms tend to the farm, he can be found playing with Mo'opuna and Anthophilia, causing trouble all over the lair. He isn't much for pranking, but whenever Mo'opuna devises a plan, he inevitably gets dragged along to help. When Mo'opuna is monopolizing his free time, he can be found around Bombus and the bees, trying to hide from Katsura, who always tries to make him read and study with her. It's not that Aigletos isn't smart, because he is quite bright, it's that he much prefers playing with his friends and helping his moms rather than sitting still and studying. Though most of the other hatchlings leave the clan once they are old enough, Aigletos never wants to leave the Clan of Milk and Honey. He loves his moms and all his friends, and living anywhere other than his home is unthinkable.
