Genos

Genos is probably the clan's most attractive resident. At least, according to pretty much every female and male that cares. He frequently exercises as a hobby, but is also a gluttonous carnivore that consumes much of the clan's meat. For this reason, Genos often accompanies Mykia on his hunting trips, especially if game is plentiful and good. He specializes in luring the prey into a false sense of safety before finishing them off. Clanmates have joked about their relationship becoming something more 'serious', but the death glares made sure it never happened again. For reasons unknown, Genos never talks about his past clans or romances even though he has let it slip multiple times that he has a lot of history. The clan respects this and does not pester him about it. His mysterious past is often disregarded once befriended. He is a chill dragon that loves cracking jokes and is always up for a friendly race or strength challenge. He doesn't mind helping around the clan whenever it's needed, and especially helped the clan's herbalist before he got an assistant. |

The pearlcatcher stared up at the sky. No stars could shine through the clouds tonight, and it would surely snow within the next hour. By his side was a huge burlap sack, which he was extra careful about tying up. He didn't want the prey to be able to escape, or even move in there. At last, the dragon he had been waiting for arrived. Snow already started falling, and the soft snow only silenced his visitor's footsteps even more. The dragon eyed the sack, which was large enough for himself to fit inside. "Not even the slightest sign of struggle. Are you sure it's still alive, Genos?" "Yes, of course it is. No blood shed, no bones broken. Exactly how you wanted it." The pearlcatcher felt slight unease as the memory of capturing his prey flashed in his mind for a second -- the shrieks, the crying, the sacrifice -- but he hid it and had spoken confidently. The visitor grinned. "Impressive. I still don't know how you do it. You will have to teach me some time." He flung a pouch of treasure at the pearlcatcher. "The rest will be waiting for you at the usual spot." He paused. "I already know the answer to this, but I trust your loyalty to me still stands?" "Of course. Until the day my blood spills in the jaws of another." |
