Quiera is the clan's messenger and ambassador; her friendly face is often the first face a new clan member sees, and she's well known for her lively and outgoing personality. She is excellent at her jobs; whether it be making outsiders feel welcome or putting to use her incredible speed and agility to get to other clans in less than an instant. As is typical for spirals, she's very energetic and struggles to keep still, and zips around at incredible speeds to try to do 20 things at once, not always with much success, but always to the amusement of observers.

Quiera hasn't always lived in the cove, and doesn't seem to like to talk about live before she arrived much; it's a great way to get her to shut up. She is close friends with Siskin, his calming influence is good for her and he greatly enjoys her bubbliness. Thanks to her plague heritage she's incredibly resistant to disease, so she often assists the clan's doctor in diagnosing a number of strange maladies that the clan sometimes acquire. On odd occasions she can use her plague powers to extract particularly nasty viruses from their hosts, but she prefers not to do this unless their condition is particularly dire as it often leaves her feeling... not quite herself.
