Even when speech is required, she's always a woman of few words. The only one she really speaks to, frequently, is her mate. That's not to say she's antisocial, in fact, she's far from it. Being a devoted leader of her clan, she can frequently be found around the village, training the hatchlings or lending a hand wherever she can. She is also one of the clan's primary hunters, leaving on trips whenever she can manage it. She's always willing to offer an ear to one of her clanmate's issues, sometimes giving a quiet suggestion. Atwood is also known to have a bit of a temper. Though she'd never raise a claw to harm a clanmate, she is sometimes apt to charge into battle in a rage against someone who has wronged one she considers part of her family, devoid of strategy or thought. The only one who can really reign her in from these episodes is her mate, most others who try simply being ignored. However, when she isn't being controlled solely by her emotions, Atwood is a fine strategist. She can create complex battle plans with ease, when she is able to remain neutral about the subject. Her logic tends to desert her when a vendetta, or personal revenge, is the purpose of the battle. She is fiercely loyal to her clan, and would defend each member to her last breath. Atwood is rarely one to turn away from a fight, even when her life is on the line. Atwood cares deeply for each member of her clan, and would consider most a close friend. However, she does get along with Gaiman fairly well, the two fighting and working together effectively. |

History;; From her hatching, Atwood ran in one of the immense Mirror packs that roamed the land, hunting. She was never not travelling, and was one of the best hunters in her pack. However, when the group she was in ran into the wrong clan's territory and hunted, a battle ensued. She ended up with a shattered leg, and was left behind by her pack. Due to her lack of magical ability - the few spells she could muster were mostly offensive in nature - she was unable to heal herself. She was found, limping through the wilderness, by her future mate, Kafka. He took her in, and though he wasn't a very skilled mage himself, he managed to help heal her leg. However, it would be months until she would be able to leave. In the beginning, she wasn't fond of him, loathing to be contained, even if it was for her own good. Eventually, though, her hostility faded, and the two managed to become friends. When it came time that she would be able to rejoin the hunt, she decided to instead stay with him. The two fell rather quickly in love, and began to travel, to try to find a place they'd like to make home. Eventually, they settled on a bit of land in the Tangled Wood, creating their home. Their little home eventually grew as more and more dragons joined their little clan. Other;; Atwood has a slight limp in her front left leg; it never fully healed properly, but she usually hides it well. She has a few cuts and slashes in her wings that make flying for her, while already difficult, almost impossible. |
