Biography
Scotia is the one who finds him, dragging the near dead nocturne by his tail to the outer walls, then leaving again without any explanation - as usual. He's half-mad from hunger and fatigue, not strong enough to fight but not weak enough to surrender.
How he came to these frozen lands, or why, is never answered, nor even asked. Shriek appears in a flurry of raven feathers and nobody aside from Rem and Tremaine want to spend a moment longer in the presence of the 'Shade Witch'. Rem asks him his name.
He hisses at her.
Shriek shrugs off her cloak, peels down her mask and opens all of her eyes.
"Iaso."
As a general rule, anyone who's gotten Shriek's attention is draconis non grata until proven otherwise to most of the clan. Somehow managing to be even more aggressive than Murmur at her most feral, the nocturne clearly only respects strength, making Sasha one of the few dragons he obeys without question. Larger dragons such as Obernia are also capable of making him back off, but with the exception of Murmur and Rabbit, most smaller dragons stay out of his way unless absolutely necessary.
Though initially he vanished into the depths of Shriek's lab, one day he emerged, looking just a little as confused as everyone else. She'd already collected all the tissue samples she needed, apparently. All she asked of him was to keep a diary of his thoughts and dreams, and that was that. She's still watching him, that's obvious enough, but evidently what she wants to learn from him now can't be found in a test tube.
The Plague clique have tried their best to make him feel welcome, regardless of the odd feeling he gives them. Plague dragons have to stick together, after all. Keloid is perhaps the only one of them he's shown any response to, having become fascinated with his segmented tail and sometimes even smiling at a particularly terrible joke.

“…never clean… will never be clean again… the voices… taunting… testing… never safe again… always watching… eyes everywhere… they see all…”
Tainted by their mother's corrupted blood, there is something not quite right with these hatchlings. There is a lack of compassion in their eyes, and a subtle strangeness in the way that they move. Always there is a dark aura around them - perhaps not noticeable to the naked eye, but to those who know magic, who know the Shade, they can feel it.
Since before they were born, a constant whispering as been present in their lives. It is more familiar to them than the sound of their own mother's voice, and more comforting than anything else they've come to experience.
What exactly is it telling them? That is their greatest secret, and perhaps, the biggest concern of all.
