Lewis is best known for being confident to a fault. And this confidence is often his biggest downside. As with most Ridgebacks, he was very quickly inducted into Aramis' Enforcers by Abattoir following his arrival in the lair. The problem of his ambitious nature very quickly arose, however, when he learnt of the hierarchy of the Enforcers, taking personal offence to the thought of following orders from a mage, especially a Skydancer. Thanks in part to Abattoir's influence and his infatuation with her, he was brought back into line and will follow his orders, albeit begrudgingly.

He cares greatly for Abattoir and the two have formed a tentative relationship over time, one that tends to be a touch rocky due to Lewis' ambition and Abattoir's loyalties. Still, the two get along very well, and Lewis has shown an interest in helping her to take care of Cassus, so his intentions thus far have generally gone unquestioned.
