Adrian, Patrol Captain

Adrian is a guardian with heart and soul. He was on a flying mission for his old clan when he got attacked by a pack of Harpies near Fayette Lair. The Clan heard the fighting noise and came to investigate, just in time to see Adrian drop, heavily wounded. Coming in larger numbers and led by the two impressive Imperials, they scared away the Harpies.
But all they could do now was leave Boann to her work, who recognised him as a follower of the Windsinger, being born and raised in his territory. "Wind can be seen as part of the cycle of nature, as many plants rely on Wind to transport their seeds. Eventually, he will not combat us once he wakes, but if he is to leave or to stay, he will have to decide all alone."
He did not attack when he woke, but spoke long with Boann. He saw the Windsinger in Boanns eyes, and in Quinns, and he heard Quinn vow to the Gladekeeper, Wind still visible in the eyes of the young Coatl. For the time it took his wings to heal, he stayed and walked the patrols with Kheelan.
Maybe one day, he will return home. Maybe one day, he will go to search for the scrollcase he lost when he was attack to deliever the message as he was sent. Kheelan supposes Adrian has found his Charge here. But he will keep quiet until the other Guardian is ready to speak up, not to hurry the friend Adrian is growing to be. There´s just so much to talk about on those long patrols...

And as month after month is passing, and his wings have fully healed, Adrian expresses his wish to be a full member of Clan Fayette. To vow, just like Quinn and so many others did in the time he was here.

"In the name of the Gladekeeper, in protection of Nature, I´ll bind myself to this Clan. With my heart, I´ll protect it. With my strength, I´ll care for it. With my mind, I´ll teach the young. Command me, Gladekeeper. I´m ready to do your bidding."
- So vows the Fayette Clan.

His vow done, Naida suggests to give him the still open Job of Patrol Captain, and he graceously accpts. Now, planning Patrol routes and assigning Dragons to it is his job, as well as actually going out on Patrols like he used to. Kheelan spends more time on the Lair site, protecting the actual home from danger, and both Guardians are content with the solution.
