To many dragons, Aeverir's choice of den would seem lonely. Shut away in a quiet corner of the Starspine Tower, with only his beloved birds for company, it certainly lacks for the usual hustle and bustle the clan provides... But then that's exactly the point.

For Aeverir knows that he doesn't fare well under stress. Chatter only exhausts him, and crowds are enough to make him feel ill. Aeverir is most at ease when the world moves slowly, and silently, and predictably. So he's quite happy to spend a day meditating, or watching the sunlight spangle through his handmade crystal chandeliers.

Which is not to say that he absolutely refuses visitors. If a dragon is sedate, gentle to his feathered friends, and is respectful of his space, Aeverir is actually known to welcome long talks on just about any subject, though his voice may take time to warm up.
