Biography
He Stumbled Into Faith
As a young hatchling, this dragon was abnormally quiet. He spent a lot of time watching, waiting, observing. The world around him seemed full of wonder, and adult dragons' obliviousness to its depth seemed strange to Bardhyl. There was so much they took for granted going on every day, beauty beyond compare in every tree, every star. He lived in the present, deeply considering every event in his heart. The shallow greed of his Clan repulsed him more and more each day, but he was patient. Flockhaven offered food, safety, and even an Observatory that he could use to look upon the stars. But once he found out that his own mother was an assassin, a thief of the most precious gift imaginable (life), he was shaken and disgusted. He soon found that he had to move on, for the sake of his own sanity. He Said, "I'll Rest A Little While" Bardhyl was used to staying inside his lair, or taking slow walks outside to look at the stars. Making a journey far away from his Clan was hard on his out-of-shape body. Often he had to rest, and soon he became depressed, having not made much progress at all. He thought about going home. But then, as he lay in a cave alight with glowshrooms, Bardhyl felt his power awaken. He could see into the future, only a little at a time, but enough to astound and mystify him. He lay there for a long while, getting little glimpses of the joy and tragedy that awaited Sornieth on the future's different paths. He thought long and hard about love, life, prayer, and the deities. He soon came to conclusions that were unique, separate from the dragons that came before him. The Color of the Planet from Far, Far Away At last, Bardhyl decided to awake, finding that luminescent plant and mushrooms had grown all over him. His consciousness expanded, he decided the use his wisdom to steer the path of a worthy Clan. Setting off once more, he shook off the dust of his past. On the Horizon This is where the dragon's new caretaker can continue their story. How did this dragon join your Clan? What is their new role? Did they find a mate? Have they done anything important to your plotline, or hatched a beautiful nest? These are just some ideas for what you can put here. You can edit this bio however you want, or even delete it. Feel free to exalt this dragon to your preferred deity if you tire of its appearance. Sincerely, MableFox # 185407 |
