Brought into the lair to be cared for by Muppet along with Lior whom he thinks of as a brother, as well as a competitor from time to time. He's over confident and has something of a temper, though usually it's just a lot of noise and not any outward aggression . He really doesn't like to lose.
His best friends in the clan have to be Mime and Lior, though both if them are incredibly skilled at getting on his very last nerve.

Veles acutally cares about Mime a lot, and even though she still gets under his scales he is happy that he was able to start a small family with her. He is less pleased that his sons are a couple of criminals, though, and has in the past 'suggested' that they try again now that they are older and perhaps more equipped to raise a family.
