Biography

Pinkamena was the first born within the growing kingdom of Brightened Shadows, much to Nightshadow’s delight and Reran’s utter dismay. How could he bring forth a pink dragon-let alone such a pacifist?? The bitter king often stayed away from his son’s upbringing, which probably helped in Pinkamena’s cheerful nature and naive acts of friendship and compassion to non-dragons.
His sweet disposition has led others to go to him for questions, advice, and suggestions in place of Nightshadow or least of all- Reran. Those who visit and then manage to leave the Tangled Wood remember him the most, earning him the ‘title’ of Clan Mascot from friendly outsiders.
It took him years of coaxing and teaching, but Pinkamena got his mother to see the world in a brighter light. Together, Queen and Prince handle the public affairs as King Reran sits back and plans battles and attack commands.
While practicing magic as a young caster, Pinka found a egg from the Lightning flight. Thanks to some magic he had learned, the Prince got the egg to hatch. It was a young Guardian, whom he named SonicBoom- as when the guardian tried taking flight at a young age, it created loud thunder claps with his powerful Lightning magic. When Pinkamena was a bit older, he took to visiting neighboring clans and found a young Mirror being shunned for her ability to see the future through her second pair of eyes. A curse, they claimed, but Pinka took her in as he saw it as a gift. Pinkamena raised the two as his own scales and blood, and is always proud of where they are in life.
