Despite being an adventurer, fame and fortune are meaningless to this dragon. Like most Ridgebacks, he simply borrows whatever he needs. Steppenwolf holds little stock in worldly goods such as gemstones and piles of treasure. Instead, he is a thrill seeker. Always off on his own climbing some mountain or delving into some long forgotten cave, Steppenwolf constantly seeks the next big challenge. Even the famed Ridgeback distaste for water is not enough to discourage this dragon. He is determined and will grit his teeth to get through the obstacle until he is once more on his way.

Aloof among others, he feels no need to make friends with other dragons. In fact, the ridgeback avoids society unless necessary to restock on supplies. The more friendly adventurers gossip about Steppenwolf’s travels. Perhaps the dragon’s modesty and solitude intensifies tales of his adventures, but one thing is for certain he is a legend amongst other explorers.
