Biography

She had always been watching from the winds. Tempest had grown to become one with the winds, a goddess strumming her instrument, whispering songs within the breeze that only hatchlings could hear. As a mother herself, it never failed to make her smile as hatchlings talked of the song in the wind, suspecting it as the wind deity himself, Windsinger. She never minded being mistaken, as those who were lesser deities were often confused with the true god of wind. It warmed her heart to see the older dragons agreeing with this, though doubtful, about the songs they heard as children.

As a dragon who thrived on the surface once, she'd been able to be the creation of life herself, having 2 children, both having grown to master their own control over the winds. Her heart was broken when her children first left her side, the songs in the wind turning to pitiful whispers for a long while. Still, she knew she needed to find peace as she traveled around the territory, seeing other mothers bond over their life and losses. As her children grew to be what she's always striven them to be, lesser deities of wind, she returned to the wind, who would always welcome her with open arms. She turned to watching over those who were wounded, singing songs to motivate and urge them on, as she's experience the trials of life herself.

Most of the dragons know this by now, but if one ever hears a song in the wind, it's always considered a blessing. Take it wisely, and keep pushing on, as the wind always finds a way to thrive.
