Shi was destined for great things. Her mother had always told her so, that she would be royalty one day. She had always hoped so, but she never believed she might actually rule beside a handsome king one day.

Raised in the heart of the Sundial Terrace, Shi spent all of her life befriending traveling dragons. Summer was her favorite time of year, where dragons from all over would gather to participate in the land's traditions. The young queen would spend all day greeting others and playing with any hatchling she saw; this behavior is still something she carries and has certainly been the influence for her adopting hatchlings now.

When Shi's parents were made aware of Dorian's clan, she was immediately sent to the pillar as a gift of peace. Dorian fell in love with her easily, her warm and kind demeanor enchanting him and they were mated within a fortnight. She is the light of his life and he dotes on her endlessly. Although Shi appreciates his gifts to her, her favorite is easily the flock of doves he bought for her garden.

Most of the clan calls her mother.
