XXXXXXLovelace was a beautiful hatchling, and grew up to be a beautiful dragoness as well. Many expected her to stick to more "feminine" roles. This is 100% not how she rolls. She looks like a soft and beautiful lady, but she is a cold hard SCIENTIST. Her family initially tried to discourage her from geing into science, as they were concerned that exposure to chemicals would dampen her beauty. She thought that was a load of podid dung, and left home to study chemistry. Ignoring the leers and flirtatious comments of other dragons, she worked diligently, and became a master in her field. Even though many surely more physically attractive dragons courted her, she ignored them. They loved her for her beauty, nothing more, and she knew it. Much to their frustration, she eventually paired up with a spindly and quiet physicist, Verrill, who had been her long-time friend and assistant. Now both Lovelace and her mate are some of the chief scientists of clan Aeviternity. 		vCVwfDN.png
XXXXXXHer research focuses mainly on chemistry and similar physical sciences. Although she works on and is willing to explore any chemical experiment, her pet project, coloured fireworks, commands most of her attention. Lovelace feels driven to complete a perfect rainbow of colors, containing every hue, shade, and color in existence. While a wide spectrum of colors can be produced in fireworks, creating a true blue firework is near impossible. Designing the perfect blue flame has become Lovelace's primary goal, so that her perfect rainbow will at last be complete. While this sounds like a novel task, such a spectrum has never before been created, so she is indeed striving for true innovation. Although the nature of her pet project tends to imply that the scientist responsible is a quirky and fun pyromaniac, Lovelace is actually quite the opposite. She takes her research (explosive or not) extremely seriously. She is not one to goof off in the lab or cackle maniacally at the fiery blaze her work produces. Regardless of the explosive form it may take, this is Science and therefore serious business. Lovelace is, after all, a very serious scientist. She only seems to let down the strict demeanor she carries around her mate Verrill. When working on their projects alone, it is all business, and they cannot be distracted from their work. If they share a lab however, things become a bit less professional. They are constantly pranking each other and pushing each others buttons or trying to ruin the other's results. It's all affectionate though.
