Mated to: Chrysocolla

______ Tourmaline is one of the more dangerous members of Clan Vanadium. He does not possess Megatron's might, nor Tarn's control over magicks, but he is chaotic, unpredictable, and easily at a loss when it comes to common knowledge. Rusty stumbled upon the socially isolated drake during a patrol around his clan's evening resting site. The pair nearly clashed violently, one in protection of his family and the other in protection of himself, before Calypso's cool nature eased the building tensions, and Tourmaline was welcomed to share the day's catch in return for a tale. Deal accepted, the wildclaw wove his story as they settled around the fire.

______ His parents abandoned his egg at their nesting site when the breeding season had long past, and it seemed their was no life to be birthed from his shell. Tourmaline not only survived the late hatching, but thrived in the barren tundra, raised by a trio of bluefin chargers. He boasts their direct ways of approaching the world. Since it was not until his early adult life that Tourmaline traveled across the ice flows to the Starwood where he chose to remain with other dragons for a length of time, the drake doesn't know how to handle himself around large groups. He possesses only a basic knowledge of the common tongue, and difficulties often arise when he attempts to communicate and express himself. Surprisingly, the patient and playfully lovable nature of his now mate, Chrysocolla, is the most helpful thing to Tourmaline as he learns to navigate the strange new world of society. He wears a lapis lazuli necklace as a token of their union.
