 THIS IS STILL WIP ;; Morgoth, the clan's herbalist and chemist, known also as "Junkie" or "Druggie". Treated contemptuously by others who don't know him - but we can't blame them... It is natural for an average dragon to treat him like that since he doesn't make a good first impression. He emits the suffocating and disgusting scent which deters everyone from him. His body is covered with strange mushrooms and lichens glowing in the dark. Also Morgoth's behavior isn't something that is common for a sane dragon. It is caused by his mysterious disease that he suffers from since a certain accident in the past... Well, not only the disease itself but also the treatment he uses makes him act like a drug-addict. After his unfortunate incident his interest was mainly centered around chemistry, pharmacy and herbology. The cure is something that he invented himself. It is an infusion of often used in pharmacy herbs with the venom of the thing that attacked him that memorable day. He named the remedy "Xarvea" after the name of a strange creature that haunted his dreams since he was a hatchling. It has also a symbolic meaning: the creature he sees is beautiful but also deadly and disastrous for his sanity - the medicine works the same way. It makes his illness less painful, more tolerable but it has its bad side - it affects him the same way as hallucinogenic drugs. |

Being a very young Wildclaw, Morgoth was passionate about wandering through the thick woods. For some reason he loved the way the adrenaline rushed down his body, the goosebumps and the feeling of being lost. That way he could feel that he finally is alone and he could find the inspiration for the creepy stories that he loved to write. One day, being only 74 year-old lad he found a wild and stunning place. It was a beautiful yet scary marsh. The muddy water (or at least he thought it was water) in an enoumous pond was glowing green, subtle light. It was hard to see through the thick vapors and the dimness of this place. The brake around it was so thick that he could hardly see the sky above him. He sat down on a mossy soil in order to absorb the toxic aura of this place - but suddenly he noticed an uncommon animal for the place like this. Buphagus erythrorhynchus alias Screaming Tickbird. Weird... he thought. Such a fragile creature in such poisonous and hostile place? The tropical bird was making circles around the pond, scared and confused - unable to find the right way to escape the cage of boughs. Sudden movement on the far end of the pond caught his attention. Drosera glanduligera commonly known as Giant Sundew - he reminded himself his latest lecture. The Tickbird was too desperate to find the way out to see the upcoming danger. (so basically he was fighting with the sundew, he fell into the radioactive pond so he got these weird markings etc. He rescued the birdie and now it is his best friend :D ...but yeah, I'm just too lazy to finish this xD) FIN |
