Pompous Prince Equinox, oh so charismatic. But, that wasn't always the case. He used to be quite alone. Due to accounts he refuses to recall, he sold his soul to charm others, with the stipulation that his death would undo it. He figured he would never die. He? Prince Equinox? Die? It was unfathomable for him.

He turned towards living a lavish life instead, practically a life of hedonism. He was able to convince many dragons to join him, taking some as assistants. He enjoyed his life thoroughly.

He had come to believe that he could never die. He surrounded himself with followers, those who would never betray them, even implementing systems specifically to deter traitors. So when Adara came to assassinate him, his ego was knocked down a notch. He just narrowly avoided death, and grateful he did, but punished Adara with an illness, all so that he could continue his lifestyle. He was not about to stand for such behavior.

He feared it would be in vain, though, when the Gaolers threatened to dismantle his throne. Instead, he worked out a deal with them. The Gaolers could contain those they saw fit, but they also had to contain those he deemed criminal. Fortunately, the Gaolers agreed, and so changed the conduct of the Clan.

The Airship his group resided in was named the Crimson Borough, as the previous inhabitants called the land the "Crimson Burrow", for the deep red of the caves. Of course, that wouldn't do for an Airship, so he sought compromise. He assigned a matriarch and a patriarch hatched from the cliffs of Plague as marionettes, to lead those the Gaolers imprisoned for him.

Although he was hatched in Plague by chance, he stayed by choice. The unforgivingness of the landscape meant that any dragon that passed by needed to shelter in the Airship. It meant the Gaolers could do their job, the royals could stay safe, and Prince Equinox could convince any interesting dragons to reside in the Airship.

As leader of the Crimson Borough, his decision is everything, although he entrusts some power to others in the court. He has a smooth, smug, and arrogant personality, believing himself to be better. However, he treats his court well, as well as those in his favor. He is only likable by his charm, aside from that, he's rather a pain to be around.

His immeasurable ego was knocked down yet again when Adara, strangely healed of her curse, was contained by the Gaolers. She still terrified him, and made it so she could go nowhere near him.
