Lukas is a friendly sea-spiral and a well known dragon among the pirates. He started appearing when he was no more than a hatchling, a salt-crusted whelp who would cling to ship's hulls by iridescent suckers without an ounce of fear. With bright cyan eyes, he'd stare at scar battered pirates and ask them question after question.

How'd you loose your eye? Where are you heading? Where'd you get that sword?

Most pirates humoured him at least, mostly too surprised to do anything else. Although some lashed out at Lukas, that never stopped him from coming back, from endless inquiries slipping from his tongue.

Although many of the pirates wouldn't admit it, they soon grew to welcome to sea-spirals presence. They offered him fish and little knick knacks, sometimes even bits of loot they had stolen from past endeavors. Lukas accept them, but mostly he just wanted to hear stories, and pirates are boastful creatures, so they were more than happy to supply.

Lukas grew from a chubby whelp into an equally chubby teenager, yet his questions never ceased. He never appeared with another dragon, and never stayed with one ship for long either. Some wondered if he had anywhere to go back to. Although Lukas answers most all questions asked to him, he tends to deflect questions about himself.

As a young adult now, Lukas has become more than the local curious sea-spiral. Over the years, he's learned much about the pirates sailing the seas. Their names and allegiances, their ambitions and weakness. He's never favored one group over the other, and even by the pirates is considered a nuetral party. Somewhere along the way, he became a sort of information broker to them.

When asked, Lukas departs the information he's gathered. If only for a story in return, or a morsel to eat, or company for the night. Yes, Lukas will gladly give what he has.

Other Traits
~ Has very small wings, which appear more as fins (he can't fly). Has smaller fins on his tail, face, and a few on his back/sides as well. Is fat, because the ocean is cold and he needs that.

~ has small rounded horns. horns/suckers are biolumescent during night or when he's deep in the sea. He can also start glowing if excited/emotional

~ Has a few scars, but that's what you get when you hang with pirates.

Trivia
~ Although Lukas can be a bit dense at times, he's certaintly not naive. Most dragons don't catch the nuances of his personality though and tend not to take him seriously. ~~which is a bad decision cause He's Taking Notes, and He Will blackmail you lmao.~~

~ In that same regard, while he seems pretty innocent and all, he's no stranger to death and violence. It's all he's known growing up, and he's become a bit desensitized to it. He always tries to be kind and considerate to others, but he's nolonger suprised when the effort isn't returned.

~ He likes to collect flowers and shells, and keeps them in a small cave hidden away deep in the sea. He doesn't consider the cave his lair though, as he tends to move around a lot and sleep wherever. He just uses it to keep stuff safe

~ Lukas considers the pirates his family, and in a way, they did raise him. And though Lukas claims he is nuetral, he does favor some bands of pirates over others. Some of them, he even considers like parents or siblings, and hopes they feel the same.

~ It takes a lot to genuinely make Lukas angry. He's a forgiving dragon, sometimes too forgiving. However when he's angry, he goes into a bit of a rage, and that's when his deepsea origins make themselves known. It's only ever happened once, but now the pirates tread lightly around Lukas. When enraged, His jaw unhinges with rows of shark-like teeth, his fins flar, and his suckers, horns, and fins glow blindingly- charged with electricity. After Lukas had calmed down, he left only charred wood and singed sails in his wake.

~ Crab, Lukas's familiar follows Lukas wherever he travels. Lukas says that one day Crab latched onto his scales and decided not to let go! Lukas usually lets Crab do their own thing and doesn't pay much attention to them. Lukas makes sure Crab is fed, and that he doesn't leave for another ship without Crab, but that's about it. Crab is around the size of a mouse and can often be found scurrying across Lukas's scales and fins.

~ Lukas is a very touchy-feely type dragon, it's one of the ways he shows affection. Although he'd only be comfortable with it with certain dragons, he also greatly enjoys cuddling! Laying in a warm heap under sun with the sea breeze touseling his fins is always a great time.
