She inherited her mother's title as the Earth representative after Confectionary left to go serve The Arcanist. Sugar was raised predominantly by her father, especially when it came to training as a young adult. Unfortunately, both her mother and father would follow the same path to exaltation. Confectionary, Sugar's mother, had initially left- thinking it would be for the greater good since at the time the clan was considered an Exalting Lair. She knew Sugar would make a good heir and felt it was her duty to pass things on. Benevolence, Sugar's father, went on with this idea but was greatly disturbed on the inside due to how close he was with Confectionary. He was able to see past it, distracted by the lessons he was teaching Sugar, but eventually, Sugar learned all she needed to know. On the next Dom Push, Benevolence sacrificed himself for The Arcanist.

After a 'required' mating with Preamble, she gave birth to the 'Dark Faes'.

Why is she the Earth Rep?

The Cloud Clan formed during the Rockbreaker's Ceremony- so a lot of the first experiences the first dragons shared as a clan were with the Earth territory. The dragons had a very positive experience with Earth, from giving gifts to simply celebrating. This ceremony became a symbol to the Cloud Clan. Confectionary, Sugar's mother, took it as her responsibility to personally keep in touch with the dragons she met once the ceremony was over. So, even though her, and Sugar, are arcane dragons, they were the ones who would frequent the earth territory and come back with news. In a sense, they are ambassadors for arcane when they are in Dragonhome. Either way, the role as the Earth Representative in the Cloud Clan serves as a living promise to keep peace and friendship between the two flights.
