Biography

Mothwing

Origin story:

"A shadow dragon?" the eggsitter exclaimed. "How do we keep finding these hatchlings?" He passed his pearl back and forth between his forefeet in an agitated manner. His mate, the clan scholar with a heart of gold, merely shrugged and made room for yet another young dragon in their nest. The pearlcatcher hatchling, clinging to a pearl of her own, watched Cicero's repetitive movement with wide eyes. Cautiously, as if afraid to let go of her great prize, she slowly mimicked the movement. As she grew more confident and more excited, her passes grew faster and faster until, suddenly, her pearl bounced out of her grasp and went rolling away.

Mothwing gasped in horror and scrambled to her feet to go after it, but Cicero was quicker. He stopped the pearl with his claws. Nightmoth whined in dismay, and Cicero chuckled. "Fear not, little one," he soothed. "I already have one of my own." Bending down, he nudged the sphere back toward the hatchling with his muzzle. "Do not lose yours," he cautioned. Mothwing sighed in relief and curled around it happily.

As a young adult dragon, Mothwing and her friend Agena, decided to travel away from the only home they truly remembered. They quickly found themselves lost in the heart of Dragonhome. The Gladekeeper was watching over them, however, because a stunning male mirror had slithered from between the rocks and escorted them home. Ragnarok was a smart mouth warrior who knew the way of the world. Mothwing quickly fell in love.

Luckily for her, Narok seemed equally entranced, and the two swore fealty to each after Mothwing settled into her bones. While Narok still threatens to leave, as mirrors are wont to do, Mothwing has little doubt that he has found a home with her and her adopted clan.
