"Tigris? That's Dr. Tigris to you my friend."
Even the humblest of doctors are quick to emphasize their degree. The document stands as evidence to years' worth of research, sleepless nights, and - above all - their dedication to their chosen field. Tigris is neither humble nor betrothed to any particular realm of science. Mention of her degree, originally earned in mathematics, is minimal. This eccentric scientists instead chooses to display her dedication through gaudy, expensive, and dangerous experiments. Accoompanied by her lab assistant, girlfriend, and occasional guinea pig, Zmjia, the two push the boundaries of whatever Tigris can manage to dig her grubby little claws into the borders of. It's a certain level of disregard in the name of learning that Tigris sees as the true marking of a scientist. Not hours whittled away behind some dusty schooldesk.

Of course, all that being said, you still better respect her enough to refer to her as "doctor".
