Gaoth

Pronounced: guay

On one of Sylce's many ventures into the Icewarden's territory, she found a young Skydancer hatchling shuddering in an icy hollow. Unable to fly under her thick winter coat, Sylce took Gaoth in as one of her own, and kept her warm under her voluminous coat until the spring returned. Once able to fly, Sylce ferried her back to her clan on the Zephyr Steppes, and so, Gaoth became part of the family. Oriasis accepted her readily, and she was raised by Sylce and Oriasis as one of their own.

Now, Gaoth is exactly the vision of what you would expect when you hear the term "free spirited". She is the most accomplished flier in the clan, and on one momentous occasion, she claimed to have caught a glimpse of the Windsinger. The others disbelieved her, but she holds to her claim. Since then, she was even more motivated to improve her arial skill in order to be as "fluid and masterful"; as the Windsinger, to quote Gaoth.

Her temper can be easily roused, but she is usually very laid back and quiet. She does not speak unless she has to, and prefers to wander the skies of her windy home in solitude.

She has often expressed her gratitude to Sylce for finding and raising her, and the two continue to share a close bond.

Previously completely uninterested in the prospect of mating, she and Airblast can be seen in each other's company more and more recently...the clan suspects a romance is blooming between the two.

When the clan moved the Shrieking Wilds, Gaoth was against the move. Her heart lies on the Windswept Plateau, in the buffeting winds and open plains. Still, she went with her clan, and makes frequent flights back to the Plateau, and when she's not there, she can be seen soaring high above the canopy of the great forest - only rarely do her feet touch the ground.
