Huxley is a historian with a desire to learn more about the mysterious ruins in the east. He was taught by Irrelevant but her knowledge was merely theoretical, she learned most of it from books. He plans on looking for other teachers all over Sornieth one day.
The adventurous side he adapted from Howl eventually took over his personality and he went on expeditions with her and Temple.
Another reason he joined them is to assist with discoveries that need to be inspected on-site. He's the only one on the exploration team who can read foreign scripts.

A very handsome guy but most dragons think that he is too much to handle since he can be very arrogant. He is rather horrible dealing with emotions and people.
You can seduce him with history facts.
