Although Universe wasn't born in this lair, he was born in the Arcane Flight. Since birth, he has been mystified by the way of the cosmos and dark magic. The moment he was an adult he left his lair in order to find a clan that would allow his future experimentations and a clan that can provide funding for them. While in his journey, he stopped by this lair for some grub. There, he saw how the clan was progressing well economically and decided to talk to the leader. With an agreement, Universe stayed and provided the clan with many magicial inventions and created the battlestones that they use to this day

Universe takes familiars, foods and items from Tadahiro's trips for his experimentations. His nest in the very depths of the lair in order to not disturb the rest of the dragons. He also was able to "borrow" one of the Arcanist's mysical books for which he uses for his dark magic experiments. Universe has a tendency to bribe Ridgebacks to help him obtain items for his experiments and is rumored to even use dragons as expermients, in times. Universe's greatest accompishments are the creations of the Agol, Otherworldly Aura, Unlikely Alliance, the battlestones and the haunted stone orbs.

Universe recently has taken an apprentice, Runesoul, as a request from Tadahiro to try and contain his "violent" experimentations. It has improved Universe's way of being a little but too much to celebrate over. Occasionally you will see Runesoul running out of the lair frantically as Universe flies after him with some time of experminetal substance he wants Runesoul to try out. If things get too out of hand, Tadahiro is known of stepping in and literally knocking Universe out, for the saftey of the clan. Some dragons see Universe as a huge danger since he is despreately trying to replace the Arcanist but Tadahiro refuses to kick him out for he has provided much to the clan, just like Crona.
