He barely knew his parents, having been snatched up from his clan at barely a few days old. He had been an energetic hatchling, just as sweet and innocent as any other. That was, of course, until he met Vader. The dark Nocturne took him under his wing, training him from a young age in the same kind of dark magic he used. Adrian soon rejected the light that he was born into, swearing never to use it, though still he occasionally fell back on the element that was ingrained into him.

Vader told him of his plans, of how Balefire, the clan’s leader, was old and weak. Of how he was demented, slipping mentally. He merely needed to wait for an opening. A chance to kill him, and seize control. Unlike his master, however, Adrian often finds himself among the war dragons, learning from them. It’s a good idea, he believes, to have some form of mechanical knowledge in case things go south, though he doubts they will. They have all the time in the world to wait, and wait they will.
