Some learn it, opening their eyes to a strange new world of metaphysical quandaries. Others, like Fulmine, have it thrust upon them. While her Origins are debatable, a different story for every person who asks, the strange Wolf-Headed Mirror always manages to turn heads and loves to tell her tales. That is, when she's in good spirits. It's unclear whether her Anger Streak is related to her Curse or simply a part of who she is. What is perfectly clear is how quickly she can jump from friendly conversation to razor-like teeth deep in another's throat. This mercurial and unpredictable cycle makes it difficult to approach her, which seems to suit her just fine. Fulmine isn't much for extended company.

Found in one of her states of shift between Dragon and Lupine by Unanimous, she was soon taken under the Guardian's malevolent wing. He was fascinated with the way her body would twist and tear, how wings would shed their skin and muscle and fall to ash. It was far beyond anything he'd ever thought possible, but here it was before him.
The terrified Mirror reveled in his help, in the gentle caress of his claw and the soothing heat of his breath. He eased her aching bones and endured the venom and sharpness of her bite. Slowly, she even began to seek him out on her own, something strange for the rather solitary Changeling. She enjoyed his company, even when he intermittently lost interest in her and her plights and sought out new and more interesting things. She was persistent and unshakable, both a wonder and a horror to the Guardian.

Over time she proved her worth in Unanimous' eyes. She was fierce and deadly, like a blade in animal form, and acted without hesitance on the darkest of the Guardian's commands. Her loyalty, her unconditional compliance was something of a wonder to the Warmonger and he happily accepted her companionship. She assisted in making him immune to her venom. He assisted in keeping her alive between her shifts in form. It wasn't a healthy symbiosis, but it suited the mismatched pair just fine.

If either Dragon were capable of feeling Romance it would be fair to say they may love eachother, but neither the Lamane or his faithful Dog can put words to such a feeling. Instead, they have their bond, which wanes and fluctuates like the rising and the falling of the Tides. When Fulmine's mind is calm, she thinks of him, and when it isn't the only blood spilled is the blood of her Guardian's enemies.
