Biography
He is fully aware of how ridiculous he looks at any given time. A dragon wearing a top hat and a suit? Ugh. But he grudgingly wears these clothes as he performs his tasks as a diplomat. The clan leader seems to think that dragons of other flights are all vain and pompous. So what better way to fit in than being vain and pompous yourself? The top hat and suit has to stay. Not if only he could get those annoying hatchlings to stop throwing petals at him wherever he goes..
Eviscerate probably wouldn't be the diplomat if he was from a different flight. Unfortunately, when Audacious discovered that Eviscerate was from the wind clan, the perceived “chatty and friendly” clan, he was put on diplomat duty. It is a small price to pay for living within the glorious Vissivius clan.
Every day, Eviscerate has to deal with petty squabbles involving other flights. They seem to think that clan Vissivius' methods and way of life are odd, and can't understand why the clan does the things it does. It isn't the clan's fault that the Gladekeeper doesn't appreciate our gifts of pestilence. Nor is it the clan's fault fault when the Windsinger can't stand the smell of our offerings of decaying matter. Hell, a war was almost started over the fact that the Tidelord had a drink of some of our special ale and was sick for a week.
Diplomatic duties in clan Vissivius are very important though largely under appreciated. No matter how hard he tries, Eviscerate can't convince Pestiferous and Avarice that the clan simply cannot fight every flight at once. But not to worry. If Eviscerate continues in his duties, the clan won't have to worry about a large scale war any time soon.
