American Woodcock: These dragons are most often noted for their wide field of vision, which makes them excellent scouts. Their eyes are set back and towards the top of their head, which allows them to see everything except for a small area directly in front of them. Although their visual field is wide, these dragons often have terrible binocular vision and depth perception. They use their tongue to find food by either taste or tactile sensation as they probe through the dirt or sand. When they are happy or trying to impress other dragons, woodcocks will make an adorable noise called a 'peent' before taking off into the air with a whistling sound and flying in circles.
