A Brief Introduction
Drift is the caring leader of the Driftwood Criers. He began his days alone when he hatched in the Thorndark Altar. No one was there to greet him. No one was there to care for his safety. All that was left was a scribble of note he could not yet read.
He spent his early years surviving and learning all he could about the grim world he was in. With no one to guide him the books he found and the forest creatures became his teacher. He used the magic he learned from archaic books to help heal those who needed it and conjure up a friend from a decrepit chair. The kind animals of the forest helped guide him to a bountiful spot he would soon carve his home.
While ambitious to make a better life for himself he began to weep by the river. He realized that while the forest creatures were nice, and his chair was a loyal companion he was alone. No one to talk with, no one to laugh with. That's when a lonely nocturne named Willow crept in.
She had seen her fair share of sadness. In one night she would take his away just to depart the next morning. While bitter she had taken her warmth with her Drift began to make a home for other souls who were lost or felt abandoned in this confusing world.
It wasn't long before he met another dragon, Silverlake, who would also share a night of warmth that would produce two children. One would go off to fight for justice while another would stay and become one who heals wounds.
As time passed and years came Andermorax began to bloom into an impressive town filled with all sorts of diversity. With new dragons came an old lover, Willow, who had made her way back into his arms to stay. She had quite the journey to tell with the news of their 3 unnamed children...
