Lumifer

The youngest and smallest son of a greatly blessed Imperial dragon, the dragon now called Lumifer was not even given a name before it was decided that he would not survive long beyond hatching. He was given up, nameless, to a strange and common-looking Fae, who politely offered to prove his parents wrong in this matter.

She did.

Lumifer survived, and though he was at first sorrowful and bitter at what seemed to be a heartless abandonment by his own parents, he learned to lose his anger in the joy of riding the wind, and in running across the wide expanses of the Zephyr steppes. And, though his heart still aches, he understands a little better the choice his parents made, and has more or less forgiven them. They keep in contact with his new clan-mother, and it is through this correspondence that Nymbi learned their shared son was promised in matehood to a little female of an allied clan... Lumifer and Scarlette now share a happy and healthy pair-bond, and have raised a number of children together.

Though his second mother Nymbi has often been his confidante, Lumifer holds Cosmiu, his second father, in a sort of reverence, and has taken many lessons from his pragmatic mannerisms and hunter's prowess. Lumifer is well-liked and respected among his peers, though occasionally he is given a hard time for his "20-going-on-200" personality. And while he would never admit it, he still LOVES Scrungo's jokes and riddles.
