Lore: Being exalted had been the greatest of privileges. But it hadn't lasted. Three years of service to Shadowbinder, and his old clan called him home. He'd been excited to see how his clan had grown. But when he found himself flying over unfamiliar land, worry tightened his belly. The place they eventually landed in was not the home he knew. Earth flight. His partner, Sereph, had betrayed him in his absence, turning her back on the flight they'd been born into. And the worst part was, if he were to be exalted again, he wouldn't be serving his beloved Shadowbinder anymore. He slipped away, barely noticed among the hundreds of strange dragons in his unfamiliar place. As his feelings grew within him, he began to change. First, his colors. And then, his breed and genes. Soon, he was a Veilspun, his longing for his original flight bringing ancient blood forward in his veins. Exhausted, he rests in the back of the hibernal den, hoping he awakens in shadow flight once more. And if not? Then he's prepared to do whatever it takes to encourage the move.
