Biography
Rover is a very strong dragon. He grew up in the Abiding Boneyard, though until coming to the Starfall Isles nearby, he was unaware that he was born of Arcane.
Rover came during a time of plentiful prey, in a group of fellow Mirrors. They did well together in their closely knit pack, however, this bright red dragon stood out in the pack of darker wyrms. When resting, he was targeted by an agitated creature much weaker than him. Embarrassed by this, he left the pack without a trace. He couldn't face the others- no, how could he possibly explain these injuries when it was from such a lesser being?
With nothing to treat his wounds, Rover felt it would be long before he could return to the pack once again. This feeling didn't last much longer, if only because this is when he met her.
Cottandy. A small, beautiful fae.
Rover was never the sentimental type, and Mirrors themselves weren't talkative as a whole. It's likely the red dragon has never uttered a single word to anyone in his current clan, but that didn't stop Cottandy from coming to his aid.
The more fragile dragon took it upon herself to take Rover in and heal him. It didn't take long with her magic, but during this time, Rover grew attached to her. He was unsure whether his pack would be worried for him, but he couldn't making himself leave.
Rover fell in love.
It was an unusual feeling. The Mirror knew he should leave, he was fully healed and had to get going... but going to where? The Crystalspine felt familiar to him. It felt like home. With Cottandy by his side, surrounded by strange magic, he felt empowered. He felt like he could do anything.
For now, he stays. Rover is aware that the day may come where he leaves the clan, leaves Cottandy and Oranteo, but for now he stays. The land of Arcane feels like home, and it feels safer. Some day, he might meet his pack again, but if it means leaving this clan...
He almost hopes that day never comes.
