Mage came to Elder Atlas and Morgana's clan while it was still in its infancy, at a time when the clan was in chaos and still finding its feet. Word had arrived that the clan was seeking a healer due to injuries sustained while securing its land. While she loved her home very much, duty and tense interpersonal relationships led her to depart and seek out the newly formed clan to offer her aid. While medicine was never her true passion, she had learned enough in her research to be of much help to the newly formed clan. Her parents split up when she was very young, and years of icy conversation and tense family gatherings led her to take her father's side in the ordeal. Although she tolerates her mother, there has never been much love between them, something neither party has done much to repair in the years since. The two have never understood one another nor supported the other's ambitions. When her father left their former home to seek out other clans, she followed in his footsteps, but in an effort to retain a sense of independence would not follow him to his new home, but would seek one out for herself; however, she does still send messengers with long lovingly hand written letters to her father on a regular basis and smaller more polite letters to her mother, small efforts that may pay off in time. |

Mage always had a knack for backwards engineering and brewing potions, ever since she was a youngling. Daring and impulsive, she will often when confronted with an unknown brew dart out her tongue for the smallest of tastes as a way to identify the elixir. Brilliant in her field and an ever eager student she has built her practices into a thriving business, using the funds received through honest pursuits for her less than conventional experiments. When the former clan alchemist, Elder Morgana, decided to join her mate in joint leadership of the clan, retiring from the cauldron, Mage took the opportunity to take over the clan's practice and provide for them. Always brewing away, testing new methodology, researching possible effects, and tweaking her recipes for perfection the clan members have never experienced such an abundance of potions and medicines and are overjoyed by the wealth and stability they have helped bring - even if they sometimes have to deal with the more erratic effects of the more unorthodox blends and brews. Always experimenting with the cauldron to find the way to create gold... so far little luck. |
