Nova is the occupant of the Faerie Garden who is friendliest to outside dragons. Like all of the Faerie dragons, he's distinctly odd, but he'll actually come into the clan proper and interact with others. His allegiance lies firmly with Oberon, but he likes Hunter and is happy to arrange meetings or carry messages between the clan leader and the frustratingly elusive Faerie King. Unlike Aquarius, he was born a Faerie dragon and therefore he is considered by many Faeries to have a noble lineage amongst dragons. He doesn't act especially noble - he's quietly cheerful and approachable, unlike Oberon - but he is respected in the Garden and enjoys a fairly stable position within the King's inner circle.

Out in the Hunter Clan, Nova is appreciated not only for his connection with the King but also for his interesting wares. Dragons are drawn to him whenever he appears in the central grove that functions as the clan's Artisan's Square. Here he sets up a temporary booth and displays fairy dust, flowers that sparkle like stars, and singing lanterns - rare items found only in Faerie realms. He has no use for treasure or gems, but he will accept four-leaf clovers, two-headed snakes, and other oddities as payment. It seems that he's just as fascinated with the particulars of the "normal" world as "normal" dragons are with his home.
