Prirad

Clan Leader

Prirad, no matter many times he thinks back, cannot understand why his birth clan was how it was and why it sent an untrained young dragon to battle. To Prirad, that was harsh and cruel, and he has never wished that fate on anyone in Clan Pyrus. He always felt terrible for Flare because he had to face that fact after being put through challenging and near impossible training every day of her life.

The reasons Prirad trained as a Mage was that he wanted to, not to avoid the same fate as his best friend, but to be able to heal her up again and keep her safe. To this day, he is glad for that choice, for he does not know how long they would have lived had he not learned the art of healing. In fact, during his studies, he tried to learn a bit of everything, to be prepared.

Even though he wishes he was strong enough to have prevented the death of Flare's sibling, he understands their fate was not in his claws. He never forgets the arduous long journeys they had all-around fire's territory. All the creatures were attacking the pair, trying to kill them or at last make their journey harder. The Territories tested his magic many times, and one time he nearly lost Flare.

However, they live on to meet Snow, and making a clan of their own was complicated, for they had to find an area save and big enough to hold all the dragons they would one day have. The pair spent many days searching and coming up with how they wanted the clan to run. And teaching the first few dragons was the fun part.

Never once had Prirad met a Shadow Dragon or a Wind Dragon, so trying to train them in the ways of magic was a long and challenging experience. Luckily for him, his first students were willing to work with him, and thanks to them, they have learned how to apply his knowledge to other elements. He was pleased when his new students learned the ability to heal, which meant they could assist everyone after finding food, resources or when Flare and her new guards came back from training or scouting.

Prirad was very glad when Flare came home one day with a powerful healer mage from Lightning Territory that was willing to stay and help the clan. This mage would become the leader of the healer department of the mages. It was allowing Prirad to focus on other duties he wanted to do.

These duties included seeing the new hatchlings, checking on the current nests, helping the young ones learn the basics or getting their head over their lessons from the day. He spends most of his time doing that these days and sometimes will task the new mages to help the clan using their magic, allowing them to learn for themselves.

Prirad does miss his family, but he knows they understand why he left and frankly hope they done the same. Either way, he has a new family new in Clan Pyrus. He knows a clan and family now that it is here, running well and is here to stay for eternity. A flame that will never go out, for they all serve the Flamecaller, and her flames never end.
