Biography

Lewla, wanna-be healer
Lewla is one of the many children of Midori and Haruki, there was never a time she had to be alone in her past, her siblings were always close to her. This might sound nice and friendly but the meant that she was never alone with her parents, could never talk with them about anything; sometimes she felt like she was not important to her parents because she was not their first nor their last child, just something in the middle.
When she grew up, she decided - like most of her brothers and sisters before and after her - that she wanted to search for a new home; a new clan, a clan in a complete different area far away from home with new friends and allies.
While she walked through the woods of her homeland she decided that she wanted to be a warrior, strong, beautiful, wild and desired. Later she noticed that this was not the best idea she ever had, in fact it was probably one of the worst! Without thinking, totally headless she decided whether to fight or flee and that turned out to be her doom.
Behind the trees in the forest a horde of Pardas laid in wait, they don't seem as dangerous as they are and she only saw 2 of the 5 so she didn't run away and said to herself loud enough that they could overhear it "I am so much more powerful, they are just two little babies" Later when she was lying on the ground waiting for death to come with one Parda, the only one who was dangerously hurt she regretted her thoughtless words.
By some miracle Lewla and even the Parda were saved by a wise dragon, a healer like no other, Kalienka. The healer tried everything to heal Lewla but she was too injured to save everything; Lewla lost the ability to walk properly and even now she feels incredible pain all day.
She and the Parda decided not to leave, even if she would be able to leave she wouldn't have done so, for the first time in her life she felt one hundred percent safe and loved. Lewla was quick to ask if she could learn from Kalienka to be a healer because now this is one of the few things she can do: heal. She never thought about love and relationship but then she met Skulblaka a honourable dragon who seems to know everything about history and tradition; she decided that he has to be her mate!

Ace of Pentacles – Nine of Swords – The High Priestess

A Hand Pulled between Extremes

The Ace of Pentacles: This is a card about being confident in one’s position. Of making intangible dreams in to physical realities through diligent perseverance. In the face of a dramatic life upheaval she tries not to think she tries to bury herself in her work. Healer was not a position she set out to claim, but one that was thrust upon her. That doesn’t mean she shirks the work, on the contrary the ability to lose herself in the role helps her avoid thinking about the way in which she acquired it.

The Nine of Swords: However when she does think about it she’s wracked with self doubt. Inner turmoil abounds, the things she should find joyful instead feel like a trap. Everything is a reminder of him. She needs to forget. She is terrified of forgetting. As much as the former card indicates a willingness to throw oneself into their role, this one indicates the heavy toll it takes.

The High Priestess: Peace ultimately comes through transcendence. Her mate was called to serve the gods. He is no longer with her but one cannot deny that he felt called to something glorious. If she can eventually learn to understand why he made the choice he did then the wounds will feel less ragged. Understanding her place in a world that is so much larger than the both of them.

by Martel
Left alone she never was
Ever free to find her cause
With no solitude to
Lighten her load, she was never
Able to be safe on her own.
